Expand student exchange & training opportunities.
The Innovation Fund uses the principle of leveraged innovation with higher education institutions that demonstrate the greatest commitment to increasing study abroad opportunities between the United States and the Western Hemisphere.
STEM Alliance Grant Competition
Thanks to the generous support of the Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs at the U.S. Department of State, Partners of the Americas invites higher education institutions in the United States and eligible countries in Central America and the Caribbean to submit proposals for the 100K Strong STEM Alliance Grant Competition.
All U.S. higher education institutions are invited to partner with regional institutions in eligible countries to design innovative exchange and training programs that develop critical technical, linguistic, and leadership skills.
Applicant institutions will be asked to demonstrate how they will assert leadership in implementing the innovations proposed, address barriers to student mobility on their campus, maintain engagement over time, and expand access to study abroad as a sending and/or hosting institution.

Proposals must include at least one U.S. HEI and one eligible regional HEI.
